FOURTH SHOW OF THE 2014 PIMBA SEASON THIS SATURDAY AT MOON AREA HSWe invite all marching band fans to join us this Saturday, October 4, at 6 PM at Moon Area High School in Moon Township to enjoy the 10 bands that are scheduled to perform at the fourth show of PIMBA's 19th season.
PIMBA is excited to welcome back both the Greater Latrobe and the Cochranton High School Marching Bands performing as our guest bands this week!

REMAINING 2014 PIMBA SCHEDULEPIMBA's fall 2014 schedule includes five regular-season shows leading up to Championships at Penn Trafford High School. All bands throughout the tri-state area are invited to participate in either Festival Class or Competition Class.
Bands of all sizes and styles are welcome to perform and receive any combination of music and/or visual input, including audio commentary in real time from up to 7 judges, post-show dialogue with the judges, and ratings as feedback to help students and bands improve. Ratings and rankings are optional.
PIMBA is thrilled that a record eight bands will participate as Guest Bands this season, including Freeport at the Kiski show; Plum at the Gateway show, Ritchie County, WV, and Belle Vernon at the Norwin Show, Greater Latrobe and Cochranton at the Moon show, and Apollo-Ridge and West Greene at the Deer Lakes show!

PIMBA BANDS AMONG BOA MONROEVILLE REGIONAL FINALISTSPIMBA congratulates all 16 bands that performed on Saturday, September 20, in the BOA Regional Competition at Gateway HS, including 5 PIMBA bands: Deer Lakes, Gateway, Kiski, Norwin and Penn Trafford. The weather was fabulous all day, certainly welcome after the inclement conditions endured by the bands the last 2-3 years.
Three PIMBA Band placed among the top 10 that performed again in Finals. Bravo to all!

4 PIMBA MEMBER SCHOOL DISTRICTS RECOGNIZED BY NAMMFour school districts of PIMBA member bands were recognized as 2014 "Best Communities for Music Education" by NAMM recently: Fox Chapel, Moon, Rochester and Trinity. Congratulations to all of the students, music faculty, administrators and board members of these districts as well as to their communities for this prestigious recognition!
